Real Estate in St. Peters

St. Peters, which takes its name from a small church built here in 1823, is located eight miles west of the I-70/I-270 Interchange. The city began as a French fur trappers' grant and flourished in the late 19th century as a railroad town. St. Peters was incorporated as a city in 1959.

Annexations and an influx of new residents have given St. Peters the distinction of being one of the fastest growing cities in the state. From 1970 to 1990 its population jumped from 486 to 40660.

The real estate offering in St Peters includes a great deal of homes built in this time of tremendous growth in the seventies and eighties, in addition to several neighborhood developments built in the nineties through today, as this community continues to grow.

The city also actively courts businesses and industrial growth with a progressive, pro-growth attitude.
